About Mike Ridling

I was born in New Zealand and left my home at age 23 to travel the world. After travelling through 45+ countries I settled in Canada with my wife and daughter.

We lived in Calgary for 15 years before moving to the Comox Valley to enjoy the beautiful West Coast. During this time I worked as part of a team of professional builders and gained extensive experience in (almost) all areas of the construction process.

As a family we enjoy outdoor activities like endurance sports and fishing, and often visit family on nearby Savary Island.

I am a certified Red Seal Carpenter with 17 years of Canadian construction experience.
